Slough: Teams & Tournaments Update

Our Hub ladies have been very active recently on the LTA tournament circuit and six of them are now ranked in the top 100 in the country - congratulations to Caz, Diana, Mary, Rosebud, Liv and Tabby. Caz and Tabby were runners-up at the most recent G3 at Waltham Abbey only just losing in a very tight final!

A number of our members have been busy this month with tournaments and team matches and it is great to see their success all categories. The mixed team have started strongly with two incredible wins against DL Bushey and Roehampton.

One of our coaches, George Weller continues to do well, narrowly losing a recent Grade 2 final at the NTC and you will be competing at the upcoming FIP event at PadelHub Whetstone with a draw of top UK and European players. 

There was a busy past weekend of tournaments and congratulations to Tabitha Reid and Caz Saker who reached the final at Waltham Abbey. A big well done as well to Alex Crisp and Scott Maycock who also reached the final of the tournament hosted at the PH Slough whilst Dareen Kelf and James Farrell won the consolation draw. 

Nick Coghill and Peter Wright also narrowly lost out in the GB 50+ final in Epsom last weekend and a shout out to Peter who has reached a high of number 4 in the GB rankings!
