The highly anticipated 2025 EA7 World Legends Padel Tour launched in spectacular fashion with its first stage hosted at The Padel Hub Slough over 2 days on March 7th and 8th. Bringing together 12 legends of football in an electric atmosphere, eagerly watched by padel fans, this opening event set the tone for an exciting season ahead.

The 2 winners heading to Miami are Andriy Shevchenko and Fernando Llorente, who were triumphant in London at the opening event hosted at The Padel Hub, Slough, beating Gianfranco Zola and Luca Ceccarelli in a close fought final match.

The Padel Hub is a leader in Indoor Padel clubs in the UK with 4 well established clubs in Slough, Crawley, North London and Epsom. They opened their fifth club in Reading on February 24th. This latest Hub will be breathing new life into a previously unoccupied data centre on Forbury Business Park, Reading, RG1 3DH. There will be a team of around 15 employed to run the club.

The state-of-the-art facilities include 5 premium indoor courts and a fully equipped onsite gym in partnership with world leading specialist Technogym. As an organisation, they fully embrace the social side of Padel creating a vibrant community atmosphere in the lively café and bar areas designed to the highest specification where players can come together for pre and post match socialising.

The Padel Hub Reading welcomes both experienced players and beginners, offering coaching, group lessons, social mix ins and the opportunity to take part in competitive tournaments. Complete beginners looking to give Padel a go for the first time can join the free weekly ‘Intro to Padel’ session run by the in house coaching team every Monday evening. Membership packages offer an ‘All Inclusive’ approach which includes the player’s part of the court fee, priority early access to court bookings, gym access and organised mix ins. Players can also choose a Pay To Play option.

It was brilliant to see our Epsom Hub buzzing last week as we hosted the UK launch of the Hexagon Amateur League - and the energy was next level! We loved watching our Member's Team playing alongside the celebrity teams in matches that were the perfect blend of good-spirited rivalry and great fun.

"The Hexagon Amateur League, a new national team-based padel competition for players of all levels across the UK, is to begin in September.

The competition is inspired by the format of the popular Hexagon Cup in Madrid and aims to bring the same energy and structure to local clubs across the country.

Open to any UK-based padel club, the competition will feature three ranked divisions, regional fixtures, and a season-long league system, culminating in a high-profile Finals Day in December 2025.

Winners of each division will participate in the Road to Hexagon, giving them the possibility of playing during the Hexagon Cup 2026 in Madrid to feel like a real pro. The aim is to create the UK’s most inclusive and entertaining grassroots padel competition to date."
