At PADELHUB, we’re committed to creating an environment where everyone feels safe, supported, and welcome-whether you’re a first-time junior player or a long-time member. That includes doing everything we can to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults at risk.
We follow government guidance, statutory responsibilities, and LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) best practices to ensure everyone can enjoy padel in a safe, inclusive setting.
Our Commitment
We believe that:
• Everyone-regardless of age, ability, gender identity, race, religion, background, or sexual orientation-has the right to feel safe and protected while enjoying the sport.
• Children and adults at risk should have a positive and enjoyable experience at The Padel Hub, free from abuse, neglect, or harm.
• It’s our duty to make safeg
We recogniSe that some individuals, including disabled children or those from ethnic minority backgrounds, may be more vulnerable. We’re committed to taking reasonable, proactive steps to ensure their welfare.

Raising a Concern
If you have a concern about the welfare of a child or vulnerable adult-or something just doesn’t feel quite right-please speak to our Club Welfare Officer. Their contact details are available on our website at www.padelhub.uk.
If you’d prefer to speak to someone outside the club, you can contact:
• LTA Safeguarding Team: 020 8487 7000
• NSPCC 24/7 Helpline: 0808 800 5000
• Childline: 0800 1111
• Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) - contact details via your local council website
Whistleblowing
We understand that speaking up can feel daunting, but it’s incredibly important. If you don’t feel comfortable reporting a concern within the club, we encourage you to whistleblow to one of the external contacts above. You’ll be taken seriously and supported throughout.
More detail can be found in our full safeguarding policy, available via our Club Managers.
Monitoring & Review
Our safeguarding policy is reviewed every two years, or sooner if:
• Legislation or official guidance changes
• The LTA or a local authority recommends it
• A serious safeguarding incident occurs
• We believe improvements are needed
Final Note
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Whether you’re a parent, player, coach, or casual visitor-if you see something, say something. We’re here to make PADELHUB a place where people of all ages feel safe, included, and supported-on and off the court.
