The future of British sport just got a serious upgrade. Comedian and padel advocate Jason Manford recently visited PADELHUB Reading, bringing his JM Padel Academy mission to life.

Manford is not just playing for laughs. His goal is to introduce one million children to the sport over the next decade, ensuring this fast-growing game remains accessible to everyone.

From Maths to Matches

While the local students were initially thrilled to trade algebra for the court, the energy quickly shifted to pure competition. Manford hopes these very sessions might produce a Team GB Olympic athlete in time for the 2032 games.

Whether they are future gold medalists or just happy to skip a geometry quiz, these kids are proving that padel is the next big thing in UK sports.
